Launching a new brand is never easy. Launching a premium brand in a marketplace with more than 7,000 competitors is an enormous challenge. That was no deterrent to Banknote Wine proprietor Pete Nixon, who introduced his Napa Valley red blend, The Vault, in 2007. He turned to Avery Dennison to bring his label concept to life and elevate it to its fullest potential. Digital printing on bright white, uncoated vellum proved to be the best option for The Vault, with special foil-trapping techniques applied during the finishing process. The wine has sold out each year before the release of the next vintage.
